Forklift Safety Training Classes
Training Required
Cal/OSHA requires any employer utilizing a Powered Industrial Truck at the workplace to train and evaluate all operators, and ensure that each operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely. An employer must "certify" that each operator has received the required training and evaluation in compliance with Cal/OSHA training and certification regulations.
T he Sensible Safety, Inc. Forklift Safety Training and certification course has been developed to teach your operators the skills they need to operate this often taken for granted piece of equipment safely. This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced operators, includes all materials and supplies, and meets and exceeds all Cal/OSHA training and certification requirements.
- Includes “Certificate of Achievement” for each participant successfully completing class.
- Includes “Certification of Required Powered Industrial Truck Safety Training” for employer’s records.
- Maximum class size is 10 participants.
- Approximately 5-6 hours.
Other Powered Industrial Trucks
Cal/OSHA requires training and certification for each type of Powered Industrial Truck that is used at the workplace. So if you are using a Powered Pallet Jack, Tow Tractor, Narrow Aisle Stacker, Order Picker or any other type of Powered Industrial Truck, training and certification must be provided for each individual type.
