Rough Terrain Forklift Safety Training

Sensible Safety, Inc. has separated this type of forklift from its general forklift safety training because of the additional dangers encountered when operating this type of equipment, and the additional skills needed to operate this type of equipment safely. Although this type of equipment is found on almost every construction site, its use is prominent in general industry as well. There are three basic types of Rough Terrain Forklifts;

• Vertical Mast
  
• Transportable Vertical Mast
  
• Variable Reach
  
  

The Sensible Safety, Inc. Rough Terrain Forklift Safety Training course covers all aspects of safe operation of all three types. From transporting to site and vehicle inspection, through safe operation and traffic rules; right on through to parking and shut down. This Sensible Safety, Inc. Rough Terrain Forklift Safety Training course has been developed to teach your operators the skills necessary to operate this type equipment safely.

This course is intended for experienced, previously certified forklift operators only, includes all materials and supplies and meets and exceeds Cal/OSHA training and certification requirements.

• Includes “Certificate of Achievement” for each participant successfully completing class.
  
• Includes “Certification of Required Powered Industrial Truck Safety Training” for employer’s records.
  
• Maximum class size is 8 participants.
